We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of high-quality back-end services. As a key member of our Global Technology organization, you will play a critical role in protecting Nike's brand value.
\Main Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain multiple back-end services using various programming languages, including JavaScript, TypeScript, and NodeJS.
- Collaborate with peer software engineers and product managers to align on organizational and team level goals.
- Work effectively in a team environment, utilizing modern DevOps practices, infrastructure as code, CI/CD (GitHub Actions), and related tools like Terraform.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
\- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a combination of relevant professional experience, education, and training.
- At least 1 year of professional back-end software development experience.
- Strong foundation in programming languages, including object-oriented programming.
- Experience with AWS, including SQS, Lambda, DynamoDB, Cloudwatch, and other cloud-native technologies.
