Key Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient care and administrative tasks
  • Perform vital assessments, including vital signs, weight, and height
  • Accurately record and report patient information
  • Provide patient education and instruction on medication and special diets
  • Assist with waived testing and quality control procedures
  • Utilize electronic medical records and health information technology
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
  • Experience in an ambulatory care setting preferred
  • Basic computer skills required
  • BLS certification
  • Fluency in English, oral and written form, required
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 20 pounds.
