Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Pipe Welding Specialist to join our team at Forum Energy Technologies, a global leader in the energy industry. In this critical role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality welding applications within our work teams.

About the Job:

In this challenging position, you will have the opportunity to utilize your expertise in TIG and MIG welding, as well as set up and run various RT and UT quality vessel weld processes. Your exceptional problem-solving skills will enable you to diagnose and troubleshoot welding issues, ensuring seamless workflow and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform visual and in-process inspections to meet API and ISO quality specifications
  • Set up and run RT & UT Quality Vessel Weld Processes (GMAW, FCAW, GTAW)
  • Operate RT Quality Pipe Weld - All Positions (6G) and UT Quality Nozzle Welds - All positions (6G)
  • Utilize Carbon Arc Gouging and make UT or RT weld repairs as needed
  • Clean and stamp all welds, as well as set up and run all structural non-code welds
Requirements:
  • 1+ year of experience in TIG and MIG welding
  • Strong understanding of blueprints, welding specifications, and procedures
  • Able to interpret and use technical documentation effectively
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
