Job Summary

We are seeking adjunct ESL instructors to teach part-time within our School of Humanities, Social Sciences, English, and ESL. Instructors will be responsible for teaching ESL classes in writing, grammar, reading, and academic discussion. Bilingual instructors in Spanish and English are also needed to teach bilingual sections.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with a culturally diverse population and to effectively and respectfully function and communicate within the context of varying beliefs, behaviors, orientations, identities, and cultural backgrounds.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Two years of experience teaching English for Academic Purposes to adults.
