Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Direct Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will have the opportunity to provide essential care and support to individuals with diverse needs. Your responsibilities will include assisting with personal care, facilitating social activities, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with compassion and empathy.
  • Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs and preferences of each individual.
  • Plan and facilitate engaging activities to promote socialization and personal growth.
  • Support individuals in developing and maintaining life skills, such as cooking, cleaning, and budgeting.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the overall well-being of the individuals.
  • Document and communicate individual progress, observations, and any concerns to the appropriate team members.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or HiSet
- Previous experience in a direct care role is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping others.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and schedules.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to transport individuals

This is a full-time position working Sunday 9a-11p and Monday/Tuesday 2p-11p.
