Overview:

Supervises: Room/Suite Attendants

Shift Times: Flexible schedule, weekends are mandatory

Purpose of the Role: To oversee Room Attendants and evaluate hotel guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and lobbies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Delegate tasks to Room Attendants and instruct team members in housekeeping responsibilities; may also perform cleaning tasks as needed.
  2. Maintain room occupancy logs.
  3. Address guest complaints related to housekeeping services or equipment.
  4. Prepare requisitions for room supplies and furniture repairs or replacements.
  5. Inspect carpets, drapes, and furniture for stains, damage, or wear.
  6. Count and check linens and supplies. Assist in budget management through monitoring employees' use of linens, supplies, and equipment.
  7. Document inspection findings and inform cleaning staff of deficiencies.
  8. Coordinate with other hotel departments regarding issues requiring their attention.
  9. Ensure adherence to key control policies.
  10. Proactively greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
