About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team at Oak Dental Partners. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists in delivering high-quality treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist dentists and specialists in the clinical setting, providing chair-side support and ensuring the smooth operation of procedures.
  • Greet and escort patients, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Take radiographs as instructed by the provider, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Prepare and maintain operatory areas, adhering to strict infection control protocols and OSHA guidelines.
  • Support front desk operations, scheduling appointments, checking in patients, and verifying demographic information.
Requirements
  • 0-5 years of experience in a dental setting.
  • Vocational or technical training, or an Associate's degree in a related field.
  • Radiology certification and DPH Dental Assistant License.
  • Proficiency in dental software, email, and Microsoft Word.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs. with or without accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in taking radiographs and infection control procedures.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with patients with special healthcare needs, including those with cognitive and developmental deficits.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage time efficiently.
