Job Description:

A visionary Cloud Solutions Leader is sought by Arrow Electronics, Inc. to design and implement cutting-edge cloud infrastructure solutions.

About the Role:

This senior-level position involves overseeing the development of scalable, secure, and highly available technology architectures using Azure services and best practices. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of cloud technologies, containerization, and IaC tools like Terraform/Github Actions. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives and drive operational excellence. Additionally, this role requires expertise in event-driven architectures, database technologies, and DevOps/SRE practices.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement resilient cloud infrastructure solutions leveraging Azure technologies.
  • Develop comprehensive technical strategies that align with business goals and promote operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with development teams, operations, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of technical solutions.
  • Promote DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices throughout the organization.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in cloud computing, containerization, and automation. A bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, along with 10+ years of experience in software development, is required. At least 3 years of experience as an architect is preferred. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python/.Net/Java, and knowledge of IaC tools like Terraform, are necessary. Additionally, you should have a solid understanding of networking concepts, load balancing, and security practices.

What We Offer:

In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary range of $130,000 - $140,000, depending on location, experience, education, and skill level.
