About the Job

Central Health Management, Inc. is seeking an experienced board-certified Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the Richmond/Lynchburg, Virginia area.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality patient care in a post-acute setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bedside patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with medical staff and physicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow up on new patient admissions and adhere to established treatment plans
  • Recertify patient stays and update treatment plans as needed
  • Round on current patients and communicate with medical staff and physicians to ensure consistent quality care
  • Update patient charts and prescribe medications as needed
Requirements

To qualify for this role, you will need to have:

  • A Nurse Practitioner diploma from an accredited Nurse Practitioner curriculum
  • Board Certification in good standing
  • An active and unencumbered License to practice Nursing in Virginia
  • An active and unencumbered DEA license
  • At least 3 years of experience in bedside patient care, preferably in post-acute care with experience treating co-morbidities
What We Offer

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $150,000 to $200,000+ annually, and Medical Professional Liability coverage. This is a 1099 contractor role with a flexible schedule, Monday to Friday, and no call or weekend/after hours requirements.
