We are seeking a highly skilled Revenue Operations Specialist to join our team at InsideHigherEd. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the revenue cycle, ensuring timely and accurate billing and payment processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compile and process invoices for billing, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Reconcile reports and maintain accurate records of revenue collection and patent expense reimbursements.
  • Collaborate with licensees, Hopkins departments, and affiliates to resolve billing inquiries and address special invoice formatting or coding requirements.
  • Utilize internal resources to address complex billing issues and coordinate with the finance team to ensure timely updates of customer billing contacts and purchase orders.
  • Work closely with the finance team to optimize billing procedures and systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with licensees, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
  • Two years of related work experience, with a focus on revenue operations, financial analysis, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook, with experience using billing databases and SAP accounting systems a plus.
