Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating x-ray equipment to produce high-quality radiographs of designated body parts as ordered by physicians. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Imaging Procedures:
    • Operate x-ray equipment to produce accurate and detailed radiographs
    • Accountable for performing and documenting diagnostic procedures with precision and quality
    • Knowledgeable in safe equipment operation and use of proper technical parameters
  • Patient Care:
    • Provide exceptional patient care and ensure comfort during imaging procedures
    • Obtain and record pertinent patient history and explain procedures clearly
  • Quality and Safety:
    • Maintain high standards of radiographic quality and adhere to departmental guidelines
    • Report environmental or equipment issues to relevant personnel
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • ARRT (RT) Certification or eligibility within one year of hire
  • IEMA Accreditation in Radiologic Technology
  • Excellent communication and technical skills
