Role Overview
The Production Systems Engineer is tasked with the design and management of integrated systems that ensure the production of high-quality and cost-efficient products. This encompasses computer networks, robotics, machine tools, and materials handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess quality assurance processes and recommend enhancements.
  • Examine production workflows, timelines, and data to generate reports for leadership.
  • Analyze production expenses and timelines to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Organize workflow, equipment layout, and spatial requirements for optimal efficiency.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
  • Design assembly processes and spearhead improvement initiatives.
  • Guide cross-functional teams to refine equipment and methodologies.
  • Perform root cause analysis for quality issues.
  • Execute other assigned tasks as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of engineering experience is required.
  • Experience with SAP and fabrication/welding is preferred.
  • Fundamental understanding of tool and die setups and design is necessary.
  • Familiarity with CNC programming and Creo Parametric Solid Modeling is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is essential.
