Job Summary

Nestl Operational Services Worldwide SA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely deployment of people development plans and assuring the competencies of your team. You will also be responsible for enforcing strict compliance to standard operating procedures and maintaining a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the timely deployment of people development plans and assure the competencies of your team.
  • Enforce strict compliance to standard operating procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Ensure quality objectives are met, including regular adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices, performance of sanitation audits, food safety checks, and product quality checks.
  • Actively participate in prevention and correction of quality-related errors and check and enforce personnel hygiene and safety.
  • Ongoing coaching of employees to fulfill and exceed the requirements of the job through NCE approach.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, Food Science, or Organizational Leadership/Supervision preferred.
  • Minimum of two years in food manufacturing with production floor experience required.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in Continuous Improvement environment (Lean manufacturing or TPM preferred).
  • Experience in food processing, packaging, Quality, Supply Chain, and knowledge of GMP's.
  • Travel requirement of approximately 5%.

  • Ability to maintain a safe working environment through proper housekeeping and safety practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, including oral, written, and listening skills.
  • Excellent people skills, including the ability to motivate and coach individuals.
  • Confidence in own capacity and judgment, with the ability to face challenging situations.
