Position Overview

Summary

The Breakfast Cook is responsible for station assignments, maintaining cleanliness, and preparing both hot and cold breakfast items according to the specifications set by the Chef de Cuisine or Executive Chef.



Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare breakfast dishes, including eggs and various breakfast meats.
  • Establish station setup and mise en place according to the Chef's guidelines.
  • May participate in sautéing, grilling, and roasting tasks.
  • Assist in organizing kitchen supplies, including dry goods, equipment, storage containers, cleaning materials, and food deliveries.
  • Set up, operate, and dismantle the station as required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the station throughout the shift.
  • Submit production requirements for the next day by the end of the shift.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • One year of experience in food preparation is preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic sauces and dressings is advantageous.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, smell, taste, stand, walk, or remain on your feet for extended periods.

Regularly work in wet, hot, and humid conditions for prolonged durations and may need to navigate slippery and uneven surfaces.

Must be capable of frequently lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs, either independently or with assistance.
