Job Overview

Position Summary:
The Housing Commission of Anne Arundel County is seeking a dedicated individual to oversee property management operations. This role involves supervising and guiding assigned staff, addressing employee inquiries, and managing daily activities to ensure efficient functioning.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and evaluate personnel, manage leave requests, and address employee concerns.
- Conduct annual re-certifications and monitor accounts receivable.
- Ensure properties are maintained to high standards through regular inspections and documentation.
- Maintain compliance with HUD and Tax Credit regulations, enforce lease agreements, and prioritize work orders.
- Conduct property inspections, generate work orders, and attend grievance hearings as necessary.
- Facilitate resident referrals to caseworkers and manage move-ins, move-outs, and transfers.
- Coordinate with other agencies and conduct fire drills, ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficient in operating office equipment and utilizing software such as CCS, Windows, Word, Excel, and Print Shop.
- Strong leadership abilities to assign, review, and evaluate employee performance, providing necessary training and guidance.
- LITHC Certification is required, along with a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and three to five years of experience in property management or a related area.

Special Requirements:
- Tax Credit Specialist (TCS) certification or equivalent is necessary, along with a valid driver's license.
