Job Summary

This role is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing to onboarding, to identify and attract high-performing internal and external candidates. The successful candidate will develop and implement innovative talent acquisition strategies aligned with organizational workforce planning strategies, operational needs, goals, mission, and values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively source, interview, and select qualified candidates for open positions, utilizing effective recruitment channels and tools to attract top talent.
  • Maintain the applicant tracking system, extend job offers, post job openings, manage new hire and employee status change paperwork, conduct I-9 verification, manage E-Verify cases, coordinate background checks, drug screens, verify driving record checks, arrange DOT physicals, create and update recruitment checklists and SOPs, facilitate orientation, transfers, promotions, and communication with hiring personnel.
  • Collaborate with hiring personnel to identify skills and competencies aligned with operational needs, organizational goals, and role requirements needed to fill vacancies.
  • Create, update, and maintain job descriptions aligned with evolving roles of RGI employees.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with Insperity PEO for recruiting services, priming, and onboarding.
  • Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on available roles, industry standards, and organizational needs.
  • Schedule interviews and develop, update, and maintain effective screening tools, interview questions, and other materials to support the hiring and selection process.
  • Train hiring personnel on legal interviewing and selection techniques and participate in interviews with hiring teams when needed to ensure compliance and effective candidate evaluation.
  • Oversee onboarding and orientation efforts, partnering with hiring personnel and HR to develop offers and recommend salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other essential details, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires and status changes for existing employees.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws, company policies, and timely updates and postings of labor compliance notices in physical work locations and electronic platforms accessible to remote workers.
  • Complete all internal and external reporting accurately and promptly, utilizing data sourced from Insperity and internal company drives.
  • Communicate with employees and managers about work authorization status to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • Develop and maintain connections with internal and external recruiting stakeholders and engage with passive and active candidates to cultivate a pool of potential talent to fill current and future job openings.
  • Collaborate with the VP of HR to align recruitment strategy with organizational needs, like recruitment budgets and staffing models.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or a related field or equivalent experience and 2+ years related experience.
  • A minimum of three years of recruiting, including managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process, highly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, ethics, and cultural awareness.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office, HRIS systems, and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with good negotiation tactics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment of a variety of roles.
  • Proactive and independent, with ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent time management skills, with proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
  • Proficient with, or able to quickly learn, applicant-tracking software or other recruitment system.
  • Ability to work as a team member and uphold organizational standards and values.
