Job Title: Commercial Superintendent

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Superintendent to oversee the planning, scheduling, and implementation of our construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and coordinate all onsite activities of subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Perform daily quality control duties, reviewing all work onsite and enforcing the drawings and specifications to maintain the highest standards of workmanship.
  • Update project schedules weekly and effectively communicate with subcontractors to ensure seamless project progression.
  • Oversee all aspects of commercial construction projects from planning to implementation, allocating resources as needed to ensure project success.
  • Coordinate material deliveries and staging areas to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
  • Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
  • Manage and enforce safety practices to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients to ensure effective communication and project success.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent in a commercial construction setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project, to manage and update project schedules.
  • Familiarity with construction management software to streamline project execution.
  • Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of subcontractors and onsite personnel.
  • Strong negotiation skills to effectively communicate with clients and subcontractors.
  • Deadline and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
