Cybersecurity Forensic Analysts play a critical role in our organization's incident response team, conducting thorough forensic analysis, data recovery, and eDiscovery to investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents. This role requires a strong understanding of cybersecurity event response policies, processes, and standards, as well as the ability to analyze complex data and recommend appropriate courses of action.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct forensic analysis and data recovery to identify user activities and collect evidence
  • Assist with cybersecurity event response policies, processes, and standards
  • Collaborate with third-party incident response teams and law enforcement agencies
  • Perform digital forensics on various media, including hard drives, portable storage, smartphones, and cloud services
  • Develop and maintain security procedures and protocols
  • Communicate complex technical information clearly and articulately to various stakeholders
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of related work experience
  • 4+ years of cybersecurity experience (preferably in forensics) or 1+ years of information technology infrastructure experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems with a focus on cybersecurity
  • GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA) or similar certification
Additional Qualifications:
  • Strong technical knowledge of security architecture, tools, and controls
  • Experience working with vendor performance and service level agreements
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and associated network protocols and concepts
  • Ability to work under stress in emergencies and handle multiple high-pressure situations simultaneously
