EMT - PRN

We are seeking an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team at The Camp Recovery Center. As an EMT, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

• Accurately obtain and document vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respirations, and blood pressure.
• Use emergency skills and knowledge to assess a patient's cardiac and respiratory status or manage and respond to emergencies.
• Assist with the completion of patient biopsychosocial assessments, including assisting with admission and discharge of patients.
• Monitor the physical and emotional well-being of patients and report unusual behavior or physical ailments to appropriate staff.
• Prepare and maintain records of progress and services performed.
• Administer medications, following instructions from physicians, other prescribing medical professionals, or where approved by state law or regulations for EMTs.
• Collaborate with other staff in working with the population of the facility to treat, rehabilitate, and return patients to the community.
• Comply with organizational policies, procedures, performance improvement initiatives, and maintain organizational and industry policies regarding confidentiality.
• Demonstrate a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.

• Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent
• Experience: Knowledge or experience working with clients who are chemically dependent preferred
• Licenses: Current Driver's License
• Special Requirements: Knowledge of 12 Step Recovery

This is an on-call (PRN), EMT position. Shifts are 8-hours, 1 to 2 days per week, and are overtime eligible.
