PRODUCTION TEAM LEADER

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations within the facility to ensure efficient production workflows.
  • Supervise department leaders in Production and Quality Assurance to maintain high standards.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize productivity and maximize yield.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality assurance practices.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance to address and resolve departmental challenges.
  • Conduct training and development for team members to achieve productivity goals.
  • Analyze production reports to identify and mitigate operational issues.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.
  • Participate in special projects and provide performance summaries.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years in a food manufacturing setting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role or 4 years as a Lead.
  • Familiarity with quality systems, HACCP, and Six Sigma methodologies is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication skills in English and Spanish are essential.
  • Ability to work in a cold environment and flexibility to work various shifts.
