This role is pivotal in managing all local HR functions to support the assigned dealership(s), implementing HR strategies, policies, and practices that drive positive business outcomes.

Furthermore, this position plays a crucial role in enhancing employee experiences and cultivating a vibrant workplace culture.

Key Qualifications:
• Passionate about people, relationship-building, and collaborative efforts

• Friendly and cooperative attitude paired with a meticulous work ethic

• Proven track record of initiative and the ability to manage multiple projects

• Exceptional communication skills to influence leadership

• Adaptability and capability to lead change initiatives

• Bachelor's degree preferred

• 3-5 years of experience in HR generalist or business partner roles, preferably in large organizations or retail settings with both hourly and salaried employees

• PHR Certification is advantageous

• Familiarity with Workday or similar HRIS for data entry, report generation, and data analysis

Responsibilities as a Human Resource Business Partner:
• Act as a trusted advisor to General Managers and other dealership leaders, influencing key performance indicators, employee recognition, and career development

• Guide dealership managers in aligning culture, employee performance, and initiatives with Ken Garff's values and policies

• Stay informed about employment laws, company policies, and best practices, collaborating with Regional HR

• Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for all new hires

• Provide accurate information regarding benefits and facilitate new hire enrollment

• Manage employee absences and leaves, including FMLA, utilizing established processes and vendor partnerships

• Foster connections between managers and employees
