Job Description

Schneider is seeking a Driver Manager to provide exceptional leadership to a team of drivers in a fast-paced environment. As a key link between the business, drivers, and customers, you will be responsible for fielding calls, solving problems, and exceeding customer expectations.

About the Role
  • Make safety-conscious decisions while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Balance customer, driver, and business needs to achieve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide ongoing direction and leadership to drivers and internal associates to ensure excellent customer service and associate development.
  • Collaborate with others to identify and implement creative solutions to improve retention.
  • Manage driver payroll and ensure drivers have quality time at home.
  • Maintain consistent attendance and exhibit behavior in alignment with our core values.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Transportation, supply chain, or logistics experience preferred.
  • Ability to empower and mentor associates, creatively problem solve, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
