SimVentions, Inc is seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer/NQVll to join our team. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for planning and executing cybersecurity testing, authoring and revising system requirements and specifications to meet DoD security policies, and performing vulnerability analysis of DoD systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute cybersecurity testing to identify and mitigate potential security risks
  • Author and revise system requirements and specifications to ensure compliance with DoD security policies
  • Perform vulnerability analysis of DoD systems to identify, report, and resolve security violations
  • Document systems from an IA perspective and develop Security Assessment Plans (SAPs)
  • Develop Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation artifact documentation, including Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M), Mitigation Strategies, Risk Assessment Report (RAR), and Security Assessment Report
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field
  • Minimum IAT Level III/IAM Level II certification
  • Minimum Navy Qualified Validator Level II certification
  • In-depth understanding of computer security, military system specifications, and DoD Information Assurance policies
  • Experience with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) and other DoD cybersecurity tools
