We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bus Runner to join our team at Wynn Resorts. Key Responsibilities- Food Transportation: Safely and efficiently transport food from the kitchen to our guests, using hand-carried techniques or trays as needed.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by explaining menu items, responding to guest needs, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Table Setup and Maintenance: Set, maintain, and clear guest tables, ensuring a clean and inviting environment for our guests.
- Stocking and Supply Management: Stock all mise en place before, during, and after service to ensure that the service team has all the necessary tools to fulfill their roles.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize all areas of the dining room, including tables, chairs, and floors, to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with our Gourmet Food Server and other team members to ensure a seamless dining experience and provide exceptional customer service.
- Age and Certification: Must be at least 18 years old and obtain and maintain registration or a license issued by the Massachusetts Gaming Commission.
- Education and Experience: High school degree or equivalent preferred, with a minimum of 3 years of food runner experience and sanitation knowledge.
- Language Skills: Conversational English required, with the ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, and respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations and decipher various reports.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, with moderate physical ability to lift or maneuver at least 50 pounds.
The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with moderate to loud noise levels in the kitchen and back-of-house areas. Must be able to interact with internal and external guests in a professional manner and work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
