About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Lead Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Providence Kodiak Island Long Term Care. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of Certified Nursing Assistants, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, while promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Supervise and mentor new staff members, providing ongoing support and training to ensure their success in the role.
Requirements
  • Current Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification within 30 days of hire
  • One year of experience as a CNA at Providence-Seward Mountain Haven
