About the Role:

As a Maintenance Director at Providence Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center at Mercy Fitzgerald, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. With a strong background in maintenance and a passion for delivering exceptional results, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance team and ensuring that all facilities are well-maintained and safe for our residents and patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance team and ensure that all facilities are well-maintained and safe
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal facility performance
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and high-quality patient care
  • Manage maintenance budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in maintenance and facilities management

Requirements:
  • 3 years of general maintenance experience (painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, etc.)
  • HVAC, plumbing, & electrical experience a plus
  • A basic understanding of computer use including Word, Excel, and Internet Explorer is required
  • Knowledge of building equipment, building codes, and building systems
  • Flexibility with the schedule - availability for the day, evening, holiday, and weekend shifts is preferred
