We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse RN Inpatient Oncology to join our team at Research Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to individuals undergoing cancer treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans to optimize patient outcomes.
- Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy treatments, as well as manage patients with radiation implants, central venous access devices, and spinal drains.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care and support to patients and their families.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and families, incorporating patient-centered care principles.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current licensure as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- BLS certification and basic computer skills.
- Previous clinical experience in oncology nursing preferred.
