About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Orthopedic Specialist RN to join our team at Queen of the Valley Medical Center. As a key member of our surgical services team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate activities, orientation, and specialty area competency development for the Operating Room.
  • Work under the direction of the Surgery Nurse Manager to ensure seamless execution of surgical procedures.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in orthopedic nursing practices and procedures.
Requirements
  • California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course within 90 days of hire.
  • 2 years Operating Room Nursing experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Coursework/Training: Training in Scrub and Circulating roles.
  • Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • Certification in Perioperative Nursing (CNOR) upon hire.
