Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect patient care in the orthopedic-surgical setting, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patient progress.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, nurse managers, and coworkers to ensure seamless care coordination and patient outcomes.
  • Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment, making sound judgments and taking appropriate actions to ensure patient safety and well-being.
  • Perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision, adapting to changing priorities and patient needs.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence in patient care.

Requirements:

  • Previous orthopedic RN experience required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain a high level of productivity.
