Overview:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a crucial role in delivering quality nursing care to patients under the guidance of registered nurses and physicians. This position involves assisting with various patient care activities, managing schedules, and performing essential administrative duties.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Administering prescribed medications and treatments to patients
  • Supporting physicians during examinations and procedures
  • Documenting patient responses to medications and treatments
  • Preparing patients for medical evaluations
  • Coordinating and scheduling diagnostic tests and medical procedures
  • Updating and maintaining patient care documentation
  • Conducting EKGs and monitoring oxygen levels
  • Collecting and processing laboratory specimens
  • Ensuring cleanliness and sanitation of examination and treatment areas
  • Facilitating pre-authorizations and insurance certifications
  • Organizing and maintaining patient records
Qualifications:
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Completion of an accredited practical nursing program is required. A minimum of 0-3 years of experience in a clinical or hospital environment is preferred. Current CPR certification is mandatory.
