About the Position:

The Sales and Front Desk Associate is a key role at Scenthound, focused on selling memberships while providing exceptional service to every customer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Experience: Drive membership sales through health and wellness education and develop membership leads; follow up with potential members.
  • Customer Service: Answer phone calls, schedule customer appointments, manage customer profiles and records, and resolve customer concerns.
  • Cash Handling: Manage cash drawer and be responsible for daily cash handling.
  • Sanitary and Cleaning Practices: Adhere to Scenthound sanitary and cleaning practices and keep the reception area clean and presentable.
Requirements:
  • Sales Experience: Sales experience and confidence, with a focus on membership sales.
  • Customer Service: Customer service experience in retail or restaurant settings.
  • Computer/Technology Proficiency: Computer/technology proficiency and ability to learn our products and services.
  • Pet Industry Knowledge: A passion for dogs and dog health & wellness.
  • Reliable Transportation: Reliable transportation and willingness to work in a smoke-free environment.

  • Communication Skills: Effective communication with team members and dog parents (in person and on the phone).
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Independently solve problems using Scenthound values and culture as a guide.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and time-management skills.
