We are partnering with a Fortune 200 global multi-billion dollar manufacturing company near Addison, IL. One of their business units is a leading supplier in their niche and is actively searching to identify a new Senior Accountant to join their growing team.

Job Description

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for performing month-end closing procedures and reporting, effectively communicating and coordinating the exchange of financial information to key stakeholders, processing Accounts Payable invoices and maintaining supplier contact, and performing AP disbursements. Additionally, the Senior Accountant will report monthly Accounts Receivable aging reports and maintain aged balances within targets, manage cash application, process customer invoices and credit memos, maintain customer contact to collect all outstanding payments, and manage and report sales and use tax and tax audit requirements.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3+ years of accounting experience
  • Manufacturing experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Understanding and application of accounting principles/practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
