Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Engine Programmer to join our team at thatgamecompany.

About the Role

As an Engine Programmer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and updating core systems of our game engine. You will collaborate closely with various disciplines, including artists, designers, and other engineers, to gather requirements, deliver, and iterate on features.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement core systems of the game engine
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features and iterate on requirements
  • Monitor, identify, and troubleshoot issues and inefficiencies to increase the overall effectiveness of the development team

Requirements

  • 2+ years of technical engineering experience with C or C++
  • Experience developing a game engine (at work, school, or as a personal project)

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 USD to $250,000 USD annually, with the opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

This is a remote position, open to candidates in the U.S. and Canada.
