YOUR ROLE: As a key player in our finance department, you will oversee accounting functions in alignment with GAAP standards, deliver analytical reporting, and ensure effective communication regarding financial and operational accounting matters. You will also be responsible for tracking and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) to assist the organization in making informed operational decisions and achieving strategic objectives.

YOUR DUTIES:
  • Lead the financial closing process, guaranteeing precision and compliance with timelines.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and forecasts.
  • Formulate the annual operating budget.
  • Examine balance sheets to confirm adherence to GAAP and year-end audit requirements.
  • Establish and maintain weekly KPIs to ensure the attainment of performance targets.
  • Oversee the physical inventory process to ensure that controls are upheld.
  • Update and manage the costing system to accurately reflect product profitability.
  • Effectively manage direct reports to enhance their performance, technical expertise, business acumen, and collaboration with other departments.
YOUR REQUIREMENTS:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is mandatory.
  • A minimum of five years of accounting experience is essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel.
  • Experience in preparing GAAP-compliant financial statements.
  • Thorough understanding of accounting processes and protocols.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably EPICOR, including consolidation reporting tools.
  • A positive demeanor with a keen eye for detail.
  • CPA Certification is advantageous.
