Job Overview

WindCom Services is a leading provider of operations and maintenance services for composite components in the wind energy industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct composite repairs and inspections in the field, adhering to procedures established by the Engineering Department.
  • Effectively complete repairs independently, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by complying with Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) policies.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and office staff regarding field operations.
  • Demonstrate initiative and motivation to learn new techniques and share best practices.
  • Organize and plan daily activities to ensure successful project execution.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in wind blade repair or composite repair.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills, including Windows and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to climb wind towers and work at heights, either with ropes or suspended access solutions.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Willingness to work across the United States, with projects potentially lasting several months.
  • OSHA 10 Construction certification.
  • First Aid/CPR certification.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Defensive Driving Certificate.
  • TWIC certification (preferred).
  • Able to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • GE LOTO Certification and GWO Certification are a plus.
