Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at TriStar Centennial Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a safe and efficient imaging experience for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Perform CT exams following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Prepare procedure trays with necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Take patient history and retrieve any necessary orders or prior images.
  • Provide patient education and answer questions regarding the exam.
  • Coordinate patient flow and ensure timely completion of exams.
  • Support ALARA principles and maintain a safe imaging environment.
  • Interact and communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Start IVs for contrast administration and use power injectors as needed.
  • Contribute to after-hour coverage through on-call shift rotations.
  • Maintain licenses, certifications, and accreditations required for the position.
  • Perform daily upkeep of departmental work areas and promote a clean and organized environment.
  • Support customer service initiatives and adhere to ICARE values.
  • Participate in quality and performance improvement plans and demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, and care of patients.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology.
  • Current ARRT certification with advanced registry or registry eligible with advanced CT certification within 1 year of hire or within 6 months of eligibility.
  • 1 year post-graduate experience preferred.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Flexible PRN schedule, working day 7AM-8:30PM or night shift 7PM-8:30AM.
