Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist PRN to join our team at TriStar Skyline Medical Center. As a CT Technologist PRN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our diagnostic imaging department.

Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans with precision and accuracy, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Prepare procedure trays with the necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Take patient histories and retrieve relevant orders or prior images.
  • Provide clear and concise information to radiologists regarding patient history, signs, and symptoms.
  • Complete documentation accurately and efficiently.
  • Coordinate patient flow and ensure all exams are completed in a timely manner.
  • Support ALARA principles and promote radiation safety.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Administer IVs for contrast administration and utilize power injectors as needed.
  • Contribute to after-hours coverage through on-call shift rotations.
  • Maintain licenses, certifications, and accreditations required for the role.
  • Ensure departmental work areas are clean, stocked, and well-maintained.
  • Promote customer service initiatives and adhere to ICARE values.
  • Support quality and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Meet quarterly targeted metrics and demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, and care of patients.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology.
  • Current ARRT certification with advanced registry or registry eligible with advanced CT certification within 1 year of hire or within 6 months of eligibility.
  • 1 year post-graduate experience preferred.
  • BLS certification required.
