We are currently seeking a dedicated full-time CULINARY SERVICE ASSOCIATE to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate patient dining services on designated units, including menu selections, tray assembly, delivery, and retrieval.
  • Engage with nursing staff, clinical dietitians, and other team members to ensure exceptional service for patients.
  • Introduce the "Catering to You" initiative to new patients using established protocols.
  • Collect patient meal preferences prior to service and provide alternative options as necessary, considering dietary restrictions and cultural preferences.
  • Assemble meal trays in accordance with patient orders and manage the collection of trays from patient rooms.
  • Adhere to all regulatory standards, including federal, state, and JCAHO guidelines.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold patient rights as per HIPAA regulations.
  • Follow Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) protocols for food handling and sanitation.
  • Comply with infection control policies and perform additional duties as assigned.
