Position Overview

The Echo Imaging Specialist role focuses on providing exceptional patient care through specialized echocardiographic services. This position requires a dedicated professional to deliver high-quality imaging in a travel capacity.

Certification Requirements
  • RCS or RDCS certification is mandatory.
  • Active ARDMS certification is required.
  • Specialty certifications in ECHO TECH are essential.
Job Responsibilities
  • Perform echocardiograms independently, ensuring accurate and timely results.
  • Utilize advanced imaging technology to assist in patient diagnosis.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 years of hospital experience is required.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy and disease processes.
  • BLS certification is necessary.
  • ARDMS certification is a prerequisite.
  • Preferred skills include TEE, Stress Echoes, Vascular, and experience with Meditech.
Work Schedule
  • Assignment duration: 24 weeks.
  • Standard shift: M-F 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with weekend shifts as needed.
  • Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week.
Unit Information
  • Equipment utilized includes Philips IE33 and Epiq CVX.
  • Documentation system in use: Meditech.
  • Floating policy applies as necessary.
  • Daily procedures performed: 75-80, primarily portable.
