Field Enumerator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Field Enumerator to join our team at the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture. As a Field Enumerator, you will play a crucial role in collecting accurate and reliable data on agricultural production and trends in Hidalgo County and surrounding areas.

This is a part-time position that requires flexibility and the ability to work independently. You will be responsible for conducting surveys and interviews with farmers and ranchers, as well as collecting data on crop yields and other agricultural metrics.

• Conduct surveys and interviews with farmers and ranchers to collect data on agricultural production and trends
• Collect data on crop yields and other agricultural metrics
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of surveys and data collection
• Travel to designated fields to conduct crop counts and other data collection activities

• Experience in data collection and survey research
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records
• Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license
