We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Field Enumerator to join our team at the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture. As a Field Enumerator, you will play a crucial role in collecting and maintaining accurate and reliable agricultural data.

• Conduct interviews with farmers, ranchers, and other agricultural businesses to gather data on crop yields, production methods, and other relevant information.
• Travel to designated fields to perform crop counts and gather data on crop health and quality.
• Maintain detailed and legible records of interviews, crop counts, mileage, expenditures, and hours worked.
• Represent the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture in a professional and positive manner at all times.

• Experience working in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of computers or iPads and ability to use software applications.

This is a part-time position that requires flexibility and adaptability. You will work a variable schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. You must be willing to travel in the Hidalgo County and surrounding areas.
