Job Summary

We are seeking a meticulous Quality Technician to join our team at Griffin Industries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality inspections on products to identify defects or deviations from specifications
  • Experience with Calypso software preferred
  • Experience with operating a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) for dimensional inspections
  • Exceptional blueprint reading skills with interpretation of Geometrical Dimensions and Tolerances
  • Able to do in process checks by with measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers and thread gauges
  • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality processes and procedures
  • Be self-motivated and work independently and as a team member
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Work flexible hours/shifts, including overtime

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in quality inspection techniques and methodologies
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends
  • Experience with Precision Measuring Instruments
  • Familiarity with Quality Systems and Standards
  • Ability to operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
  • Understanding of regulations related to product quality and safety
