Lead Painting Specialist

Job SummaryThe Lead Painting Specialist will play a vital role in our facilities maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to painting and upkeep of our buildings.
Key Responsibilities- Perform general painting tasks, including mixing and matching paint, stain, and other finishes to meet job specifications.
- Tape and bed, float, roll, or spray texture, patch work, hang sheetrock, apply vinyl wallpaper, and maintain the cleanliness and operation of assigned equipment.
- Assemble scaffolding, climb ladders, and lift 50 pounds of paint continuously.
- Stage work areas prior to painting, including covering floors, furniture, and other surfaces.
- Respond to work orders for assistance with general repairs of patient care equipment, office equipment, or grounds services.
- Complete daily work order documentation and end-of-shift reports in a timely manner.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- +2 years of prior commercial painting experience.
- Familiarity with minor electrical, painting, mechanical repair, and general building techniques.
- Knowledge of texture variations and all types of paint applications.
This position involves working in an inside environment, with occasional outdoor work. The successful candidate will be required to work with chemical hazards and environmental hazards, including noisy environments and infectious agents. The physical demands of this role include lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and moving objects, as well as walking and standing for prolonged periods.

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package to our employees. The estimated salary for this position is between $45,000 and $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
