Banner Health's Occupational Medicine division is seeking a dynamic Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the Phoenix Metro Area.
About the Opportunity
As a Per Diem Occupational Medicine Advanced Practice Provider, you will have the opportunity to perform baseline and annual physical exams, evaluate and treat industrial injuries and non-industrial medical conditions, and provide follow-up care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct physical exams and provide medical evaluations
- Treat and follow up on industrial injuries and non-industrial medical conditions
- Provide preventive care and wellness services
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
Requirements
- NP or PA-C designation (AANP/NCCPA)
- Current prescribing privileges, including a DEA license for controlled substances required
- Current AZ license or eligibility
- ACLS/BLS required
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in Occupational Medicine is required
- Certification to perform NRCME (DOT) driver examinations required, or acquired within 6 months of employment
