At Brillient, we are seeking an experienced Health IT Principal Informaticist to join our team. As a key member of our digital transformation company, you will play a crucial role in helping agencies improve their healthcare delivery processes and patient outcomes.

About the Role

We are offering a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, for this full-time position in Washington, DC. In addition to your annual salary, you can expect to receive excellent benefits, including paid time off, medical, dental, and vision plans, and a 401(k) plan with company match.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in health informatics and at least 5 years of relevant experience. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing electronic health record (EHR) systems, clinical decision support tools, telehealth platforms, and other healthcare IT solutions. Your primary focus will be on streamlining healthcare delivery processes and improving patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the implementation, customization, and optimization of EHR systems within healthcare organizations.
  • Analyze clinical workflows and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Develop and implement clinical decision support tools and systems to assist healthcare providers in making evidence-based decisions at the point of care.
  • Facilitate the exchange of electronic health information between healthcare organizations, providers, and patients.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret healthcare data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in clinical outcomes, patient safety, and healthcare quality.
