Medical Care Specialist for Military Health Readiness

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Care Specialist to join our team at DOCS Health, providing health readiness services to military personnel in the State of DC.
Job OverviewAs a Medical Care Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the health and well-being of our nation's service members. Our team delivers high-quality healthcare services through various models, including fixed-clinic, mobile treatment centers, telemedicine, and portable deployments.
Responsibilities- Conduct Physical Health Assessments: Evaluate the medical fitness of military personnel to ensure they meet deployable standards.
- Review Health History: Examine service members' medical records and questionnaires to identify potential health concerns.
- Interview Service Members: Engage with military personnel to gather information about their current and prior medical conditions.
- Identify Immediate Concerns: Recognize any health issues that require urgent attention, including Behavioral Health.
- Document Results: Record interview findings in the service member's medical record using our proprietary system.
- A valid NP license in the state where you'll be working
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Occupational Health - preferred
- Adaptability to fast-paced environments and large volumes of service members seen daily
- Able to work extended hours and travel, with weekend availability - preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and basic computer knowledge

$120,000 - $180,000 per year (estimated), depending on experience and qualifications.
