  • Draft and present detailed loan proposals, including collateral evaluations, to the loan committee.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, fostering and sustaining relationships with clients by clearly articulating loan requirements and processes while addressing inquiries.
  • Demonstrate outstanding organizational and time management abilities, prioritizing tasks effectively in a dynamic work environment.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy in all documentation and data management through meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in SBA lending practices and procedures.
  • Strong proficiency in financial analysis, with a solid understanding of GAAP.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Customer service-focused approach.
  • Competence in utilizing computers, banking software, and related technologies.

Experience & Requirements:

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in commercial lending (C&I and CRE), with a proven track record in underwriting and loan approval.
  • A minimum of 2 years in commercial banking or commercial real estate loan production is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a credit approval capacity within a commercial banking context is desirable.
  • A commitment to continuous education regarding SBA regulations and the broader banking sector is essential.
  • Previous supervisory experience of 3 to 5 years is beneficial.
