Position: Radiologic Technologist - Multi Modality

Position Overview:

The Radiologic Technologist - Multi Modality is responsible for executing a range of technical imaging procedures, including M.R.I., CAT Scan, Routine Radiography, and Angiography. Proficiency in at least two modalities, particularly Radiography, is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

The Radiologic Technologist will adhere to established protocols for patient safety, radiation safety, infection control, and environmental safety. This role includes creating a safe and comfortable atmosphere for patients, staff, and visitors. The technologist will utilize leadership skills to mentor students and provide constructive feedback on their performance. The ability to train fellow technologists in their respective modalities is also required. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to serve as a professional role model.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  1. Graduate from an accredited Radiology program
  2. Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  3. Valid State of Texas General Radiology License
  4. Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association

Physical and Sensory Requirements:

  1. Ability to read and write in English
  2. Effective communication skills, including the ability to hear and speak clearly
  3. Capacity to remain composed under pressure
  4. Demonstrated organizational and leadership abilities
  5. Ability to analyze and interpret information to make informed decisions
