Job Summary

Crew member essential to the application of asphalt on highways, private roadways, parking lots, and driveways operating a Shuttle Buggy. The ideal candidate will have the ability to operate the Shuttle Buggy within designated areas with attention to detail and emphasis on craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

Operate Shuttle Buggy to apply asphalt per plan and quality specifications as instructed by the crew foreman to ensure daily schedules and estimates are met.
Perform additional tasks of other positions as needed and instructed by the foreman.
Properly follow all company policies and OSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
Maintain a courteous and professional manner with co-workers, customers, and the public.
Ability to operate or initiative to learn to operate other equipment required on an asphalt crew.
Ability to be flexible with last-minute schedule changes, location changes, time of shift changes, and overtime work.

Requirements

High school degree or equivalent is preferred but not required.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for repetitious lifting while using proper lifting techniques.
Will be exposed to extremes of heat or cold weather.
Ability to adapt and work in extreme weather temperatures.
