Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at Triad Adult and Pediatric Medicine, Inc. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive nutrition and health education services to patients with a variety of medical and nutritional problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide independent analysis of clients' medical conditions and develop treatment plans in concert with an interdisciplinary team approach.
  • Interpret medical and laboratory information and discuss hospital-referred treatment plans, applying them to the home environment.
  • Maintain a database of patients counseled and plan patient care independently or in concert with an interdisciplinary team.
  • Support medical staff in addressing nutrition and weight issues with all patients and counsel interested patients/families in healthy food choices and physical activity.
  • Meet with staff to review program and revise process, communicate regularly with providers on all their patients/families enrolled in the program, and provide consultative services to school nurses, fitness program staff, and other change agents.
  • Assist with special research projects, gather comprehensive health education data and statistics, and make proposals as needed based on these and trends in the health education field.
Requirements
  • Registered Dietitian
  • Masters Degree with two year's work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Current NC Driver's License
Work Environment

Job duties are performed in normal medical office working conditions. There will be exposure to patients with communicable diseases and blood-borne pathogens; all necessary protective measures will be provided.
